Free Bike Marking Event – Dronfield 📅 Date: Saturday 1st August ⏰ Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm 📍 Location: Dronfield Civic Centre, Dronfield, S18 1PD 

Derbyshire Constabulary will be hosting a free bike marking event with PCSO Flower to help prevent cycle theft and keep our community safe. 

🔒 What is bike marking? Bike marking involves applying a unique, traceable security code to your bicycle and registering it on the BikeRegister national database. 

This helps: Deter thieves Assist police in recovering stolen bikes Provide proof of ownership What’s included on the day: FREE bike security marking Free registration with BikeRegister (the UK’s national cycle database) Advice on how to secure your bike at home and in public General crime prevention guidance from your local PCSO 

👥 Who can attend? Open to all ages Residents welcome – no booking required Proof of ownership if available (not essential, but helpful) Event is drop-in – just turn up during the session Multiple bikes per household are welcome Suitable for all types of bikes (children’s bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, etc.)
